Covid-19 Stories: We are committed to spotlighting the ways communities in Milwaukee engage with writing, rhetoric, and literacy in their daily lives. In these unprecedented times, we would like to spotlight the experiences of graduate teaching assistants at UWM.
Since the transition to online teaching and learning, we’ve all had to find new ways to structure our classes, connect with students, and balance our own studies with our teaching.
If you’re a graduate teaching assistant, the Writing and Rhetoric MKE Team wants to hear from you on how you’re handling this situation. What have your experiences been with the transition to online teaching and learning? What advice do you have for fellow instructors and graduate students? What are some unique challenges or triumphs you’ve faced?
We are looking for stories between 250 and 500 words that we will curate into a series of posts.
If you’d like to share your stories, please reach out to us on Twitter @writingmke, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will accept submissions any time until May 22.
